Meet the Magnobrain Team
Drawing upon more than 45 years of combined experience, the team at Magnobrain is on a mission to change the way students and teachers play and learn. With an innovative team of parents with professional careers in science, technology, education fields we have created fun and educational board games that all ages can enjoy. Students from kindergarten to grade 12 can use these learning tools which also go hand-in-hand with STEM programs.
Nicola Clarke Morgan, BS - Co-founder & CEO
Nicola is an experienced account manager and marketing executive with more than 12 years of experience in the field of recruiting, sales, customer service, client management, education, and program review. She received a bachelor's of science in business management from the University of Phoenix™. Nicola has developed well-honed skills over her professional career and works in various capacities on education recruitment programs. She has assisted in the development and implementation of training programs for academic and admission counselors.
O'Neil Morgan, BEng, MS – Co-founder & COO
O'Neil has been in the energy consulting business for more than 13 years. He received his undergrad degree in mechanical engineering from University of Technology, Jamaica, and his graduate degree in engineering management from Florida International University, Miami, FL. Throughout his professional career, his focus has been on demand-side management and energy conservation program development and implementation. He is an advocate of education and this drives the development of Magnobrain’s innovative products and educational programs.
Kacey Merchant, AAS – Co-founder & Director of Product Development
Kacey earned his associate degree in telecommunications engineering technology from Albany Technical College, Albany GA. He has worked as a lab assistant and surveillance systems technician for more than 10 years. He was also a youth leader for the Boys Brigade™ and the wider community in Jamaica. Kacey is a husband and father of two, who is devoted to making a positive impact on the world. It is with great passion that he has devoted his life to developing products that seek to benefit many people of all ages.
Kendra Merchant, MS, PhD – Co-founder & Director of Educational Application
Kendra is an assistant professor of biology at Miami Dade College, and has previously worked at Barry University in Miami, FL and Albany State University, Albany GA instructing graduate and undergraduate students in biology. Kendra got her bachelor's degree at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica in chemistry and biochemistry. She earned her masters and doctoral degrees at Florida Atlantic University where her research focused on investigating the effects of natural products on prostate and breast cancer cells. With more than 12 years in the educational field, she has a wealth of experience in curriculum design and instruction. She loves working with young people and has a passion for inspiring and encouraging them to develop a love of science.
